Experience & Qualifications

I have recently achieved diplomas, with the College of Media and Publishing, in proofreading and editing, and blogging.

I have also completed the Introduction to Fiction Editing course with the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading.

I am also an intermediate level member of the Chartered Institute for Editing and Proofreading, and a member of ProCopywriters.

I have experience with annual reports, financial statements, dissertations, websites and, both fiction and non-fiction books.

Proofreading has always been a passion of mine. In my last job, as Finance Officer, I always proofread our annual report before it was sent to Companies House. Since then I have done voluntary work for a charity, Shared Lives South West, putting copy onto their website and proofreading.
