Proofreading, editing and copywriting services

Each job is unique so contact me, with details of the job, and I will happily give you a quote. If you would prefer a rate per 1,000 words – I can quote you that too. Jobs of any size will be quoted for, from a single page flyer, a fiction or non-fiction book to a multipage newsletter or annual report.

For any job over £250.00, I will require a 50% deposit.

Members of the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers will receive a 10% discount – I also offer a 10% discount for your first job.

I work using the Guardian Style Guide and the Collins Dictionary. All academic references will be checked using the Harvard Referencing Guide.

My preferred ways of working are with Word documents (where I can highlight any amendments using the Track Changes function), PDFs or Google Docs. This enables me to work anywhere, and means all jobs are completed to the same high standards. Besides, working on-screen is more environmentally friendly.

I will always quote an all inclusive price and an agreed service for a project. I will always stick to agreed deadlines. During your project I will keep in contact, by email or phone, with my progress and any questions I have.

Disability terminology

I now offer to give talks on disability terminology and issues – in the Newton Abbot area. These include terms commonly used that are outdated, wheelchair etiquette, how to improve interaction, the disability paradox and will include a question and answer session.

These will require a certain amount of audience participation and will be delivered with a sense of humour.
