Local cafe culture

As you all know there are many local cafes and restaurants around Newton Abbot – and I find it more relaxing to have a business meeting over a coffee.

I am including in my blog – details about wheelchair access.

I will include:

• Entry from the street
• Convenience for ordering
• Room around the tables
• Flooring – is it easy to push on
• Table height
• Toilet facilities

I will also give each a rating of 1 to 3 – 1 being good and 3 being not recommended:

• For someone able to walk around
• Wheelchair user with an enabler
• Only wheelchair users

These details and ratings will be based on my findings – as a wheelchair user – and will in no way relate to ratings or standards used in any publication or on any other website.
