Queen Street
This is a new addition in Queen Street – it only opened on 1 August 2018.
The front door is very wide, but also very heavy to open.
They will ask for a table number when you order.
There are no outside tables.
The ratings are based on a score of 1 to 3, where 1 is the best and 3 the worst.
Entry from the pavement is completely level.
Ordering is at the bar at the far end of the lounge. The bar is quite high and there is music and chatter so be prepared to shout.
When I first went in there was plenty of room around the tables – as it was fairly quiet. Though when they are busy it is not the easiest place to get a wheelchair around.
The floor is tiled – so easy to push on
The tables are fairly high – though for me not quite high enough to get my legs under.
There is a disabled toilet at the back – on the left.
For someone who walks around: 1
Wheelchair user with an enabler: 1
Wheelchair users only: 1.5 – A 1 for when it’s quiet and a 2 for when it’s busy.
