There is a cake display on the counter, you will probably have to ask what is in it – especially if you are in a wheelchair.
One thing I would applaud them for is that they have a push button door opener.
Seating inside and out.
The ratings are based on a score of 1 to 3, where 1 is the best and 3 the worst.
Completely level access from the indoor market. There is a slope if you are coming from the bus stops in Sherborne Road.
The order point is easy to access – but the counter is rather high especially if you are in a wheelchair.
There are outside tables on the slope from Sherborne Road – but these have fixed seating. There are two tables outside the shop doorway – and four inside. The inside tables can be manoeuvred around in a manual chair, though this may be difficult in an electric chair or scooter.
The floor outside is easy to push on. The floor inside is half tiled with the other half carpeted.
Tables are at a good height – both inside and out
Nearest wheelchair accessible toilet is in Sherborne Road
For someone who walks around: 1
Wheelchair user with an enabler: 2 Though you will find it difficult to access some of the outside tables.
